Do you know a young person who loves the outdoors and wants to learn more about hunting? If so, then you should sign them up for the Explore Hunting Class on June 8th! This free workshop is for young people ages 11-17 who are interested in learning about hunting practices in South Dakota. A few of the topics discussed will be wind, blinds, habitat, and tracking. This class includes an indoor classroom setting as well as outdoor practice with archery and scoped air rifles.
This free event will be held Thursday, June 8th from 10-1 at the Mitchell Trap Club. Pizza lunch provided.
South Dakota Youth Hunting Adventures is an outdoor mentoring program run through Big Friend Little Friend of Mitchell.
